According to a report from the National Civil Aviation and Meteorological Agency of Senegal (ANACIM), Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is currently the best African airline operating in Senegal after Air Senegal.

, which includes air traffic data for the first quarter of 2023, shows that Royal Air Maroc is Africa's most active airline with a 15% share in both passenger and air cargo.

Royal Air Maroc has operated in Senegal since the opening of the Casablanca-Dakar route in 1958, a milestone as one of the airline's first international routes.

Thanks to the good cooperation of Senegalese and Moroccan authorities, the Casablanca-Dakar route has become important for Royal Air Maroc, which serves more than 200,000 passengers annually.

In terms of passengers arriving in Senegal, Casablanca ranks second after Paris as the main destination.
French capital accounts for 16% of the total, 10% for Casablanca and 6% for Brussels.

Outside of Senegal, the most popular destinations are Paris, Casablanca and Madrid, accounting for around 29% of passengers.
